Eligiblity
Verifying patient eligibility is the first step in successfully managing the claim lifecycle process. HERAE ClaimXchange provides browser-based verification of a patient's eligibility in only a few seconds. The responses are displayed in a consistent, easy-to-read format. Our enhanced payer access solution provides you with a single logon to manage access to all your payers. Guides and prompts ensure that all payer requirements are met when submitting requests and include error checking with automatic resubmission.

Claim Scrubbing
What if there were a way to know - before you submit a claim - if it complied with all the documented payer rules? Now what if you could know if it complied with "undocumented" payer rules as well? HERAE ClaimXchange automatically compares submitted claims with rejections and denials and automatically "reverse engineers" an ever-growing list of these payer rules, adding them to the comprehensive rules engine that is maintained and updated weekly using payer bulletins and code releases. The HERAE ClaimXchange rules engine is payer-specific, applying rules precisely as needed to each unique payer's requirements. The rules are also date sensitive, applying, for example, procedure and diagnosis codes by date of service.
Online Claim Editing
If a claim does encounter an issue, the HERAE ClaimXchange™ on-line real-time editing feature takes you right to a concise list of errors that have been flagged by our claim scrubber. Simply "point and click" to edit the flagged issues and correct them before the claim is forwarded to a payer. If you notice the same error throughout one or more claims, the HERAE ClaimXchange global "find and replace" feature allows you to instantly correct the same error across them all.
If an error involves more than one field - as can easily happen when dates are accidentally entered incorrectly - all the related fields are presented together to allow easy analysis and correction. No time is wasted navigating through a claim to find the fields that are in error.
HERAE ClaimXchange has a flexible workflow that makes it easy to edit as many or as few claims in any given file. You do not need to correct all claims and you can also choose to override some errors or exclude certain claims from being sent on to payers. The HERAE ClaimXchange security module provides full control over user access and claim edit type permissions. All file activity is tracked in a detailed audit trail, and other reports show the most common errors that have been made.
